The 3rd Annual Kevin Adorno Memorial Ride & Festival is brought to you by The Kevin Adorno Memorial Fund, Inc. (“KAMF”), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed to carry on Kevin’s legacy and love for life. The purpose of KAMF is to support children and young adults in Farmington who are aspiring or pursuing an education in the arts. KAMF also supports the promotion of biking, provision of bicycles to children, wellness, and bicycle safety in the Farmington Valley. Annually, KAMF donates scholarships to graduates of Farmington High School and gives back to the Farmington Valley Community through our Bikes for Bambinos Program
About Kevin Adorno
The 3rd Annual Kevin Adorno Memorial Ride & Festival honors the life and legacy of Kevin Adorno – an adventurous, artistic, giving, athletic, fun loving person. Kevin was born and raised in Farmington, where he enjoyed all of the wonderful things Farmington had to offer – soccer leagues, tubing on the Farmington River, and spending his summers as a kid at Winding Trails, to name a few. Kevin always had a sense of adventure and a particular gift for meeting people and finding out what made them unique. He loved to try new things, travel and see new places. By age 28, Kevin had backpacked Europe, toured the country by car, had made everlasting friendships with people all over the world and biked nearly the entire east coast.
Proceeds from This Event
Proceeds from the event benefit The Kevin Adorno Memorial Foundation, Bicycle Friendly Farmington, Inc., and Winding Trails. The mission of The Kevin Adorno Memorial Foundation is twofold: to support children and young adults in Farmington who are aspiring or pursing an education in the arts, and to promote bicycling, wellness, and bicycle safety in the Farmington Valley, working to ensure that all children have access to bicycles. Bicycle Friendly Farmington is the community advocacy group working to support bicycling in Farmington and Unionville. Winding Trails is an independent, nonprofit organization providing outdoor year-round recreational and educational activities, and is where the Adorno Family spent many happy weekends when Kevin and his siblings were younger.
